Foothills Theatre Company has an opening for a Sound Senior Technician (A)/Board Operator for its upcoming production of “Falsettos.” The production runs from May 10th through June 1st 2008. Applicants must be available for all performances. Performance days and times are: Thursdays at 2:00PM and 8:00PM; Fridays at 8:00PM; Saturdays at 3:00PM and 8:00PM; Sundays at 2:00PM. All production personnel are required to be on site no later than one hour prior to curtain.
In addition to the run of the production, the Senior Technician (A) is required to attend all Tech Week rehearsals which run from May 5th through May 9th. The hours during the Tech Week generally run from 10:00AM to 10:00PM.
The position is hourly and pays overtime at time and a half for authorized hours over 40 per week.
Specific requirements for “Falsettos” call for the ability to mix Orchestra, Wireless Microphones and Sound Effects. The Board OP is on headset with the Stage Manager who calls the “standby” and “go” for all Sound Effects.
