
DAYLE BALLENTINE* (Alexa Vere de Vere) is thrilled to make her debut at the Foothills Theatre in Bees. She was last seen in the East Coast premiere of Pulp for Boston Theatre Works. Previous roles include Cecily in The Odd Couple at Stoneham Theatre and Gwendolyn at the American Stage Festival. Other credits include Bethany in Self-Torture and Strenuous Exercise for TheaterZone, Anna in Old Times for Theater Cooperative, Madge in Absent Friends at the New Repertory Theatre and multiple roles in A Night of Quickies for Centastage and Underground Railway Theatre. Her favorite role is that of mom to sons Alex and David.
CHRIStopher michael BROPHY* (Ronald, Skunk, Mike) is very pleased to be making his debut at Foothills. He most recently appeared in Silence for New Repertory Theatre, Around the World in Eighty Days for Stoneham Theatre and Valhalla for Zeitgeist Stage Company. Other recent appearances include: for Speakeasy Stage Company: Five by Tenn and Take Me Out for which Chris received an IRNE award for Best Supporting Actor, Boston Theatreworks: The Sweetest Swing in Baseball and Veronica Vavoom, Volcanologist, and also for Stoneham: As Bees in Honey Drown and Of Mice and Men. Chris also played Macbeth for New Rep on Tour's production last spring. Chris hails from Martha’s Vineyard where he has appeared in numerous shows for the Vineyard Playhouse including The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), All In The Timing and David Sedaris’ one-man show The Santaland Diaries. During the summer he teaches on Martha's Vineyard at IMP All Things Theatre Camp, which he co-founded. Chris will be appearing this spring in Speakeasy's production of Terrance McNally's Some Men.
AMANDA FERGUSON* (Amber, Backup Singer, Secretary, Bethany, Ginny, Muse) is thrilled to be back at the Foothills, where she has appeared in productions of It's A Wonderful Life:A Live Radio Play (Violet Bick), The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), The Underpants (Gertrude), A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Past), The Sunshine Boys (The Nursey), and Gypsy (Louise). She holds a B.F.A. in musical theater from Syracuse University, and is thankful to Russell and the Foothills crew for helping her put the degree to good use. Amanda would like to thank her family and friends (they know who they are) for their unflappable support and love.
MERRILL PEIFFER* (Waiter, Carla, Denise, Illya, Newsstand Woman, Backup Singer, Muse) is extremely excited to be returning to Foothills, after making her debut last year as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show. She is also thrilled to be working with the wonderful director, Russell, again! Favorite regional credits include: Sheila in HAIR, Various roles in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and the Stepmother in The Reluctant Dragon, which she originated. Many thanks to the friends who've been down the many roads with Merrill. Kudos to all who have inspired her to be better in every way, especially her lovely family. Peace!
CHRISTOPHER JAMES WEBB* (Photographer, Swen, Kaden, Clerk) is happy to be back with Foothills, after appearing last season in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. Other Boston area credits include Ritz Rendezvous and The Trophy (both for the Boston Theatre Marathon) and Nobody (Boston Theatre Works Unbound). In the winter he will be appearing as Louis in Boston Theatre Works production of Angels in America. Prior to moving to Massachusetts, Christopher lived outside of Chicago where he appeared in True West, What the Butler Saw, and Wait Until Dark, all with the Borealis Theatre Company. He was a company member of the Tony-award winning Denver Center Theatre Company, where his credits include A Christmas Carol, Pierre, The Skin of Our Teeth, Love’s Labours Lost, A Skull in Connemara, Hamlet, The Little Foxes, Cyrano de Bergerac, A Lie of the Mind, and Hay Fever. Other credits include Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing (Michigan Shakespeare Festival), Titus Andronicus (Artists and Playwrights Initiative), Love! Valour! Compassion! (Whole Art Theatre) and A Streetcar Named Desire (New World Repertory Theatre). His original works Hero, Revolution: a Song of Black Freedom, and faith & redemption have also been produced. He has directed locally for the Boston Theatre Marathon and Stoneham Theatre's Young Company--where he also taught. He has served on the faculty of the Denver Center Theatre Academy, the Illinois Institute of Art, and was a guest director with Northern Illinois University’s School of Theatre and Dance. He holds an MFA in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory.
DAN WHELTON* (Evan Wyler) is grateful and excited to make his first appearance with Foothills Theatre Company. His theatre credits include Hartford Stage Company (Learned Ladies of Park Avenue, A Christmas Carol), TheatreWorks Hartford (Take Me Out), Long Wharf Theatre (Guys and Dolls), Ivoryton Playhouse (Big River, Brighton Beach Memoirs), Seven Angels Theatre (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Golf With Alan Shepard), The Colonial Theatre (Romeo and Juliet) and Connecticut Free Shakespeare (As You Like It). Dan has also done multiple educational videos with Mazzarella Productions. He has a BA in Theatre from Eastern Connecticut State University, and would be nowhere without the love and continuing support of Isabelle and his friends and family. Merci mon amour, je t’aime!
